Terms of service

These terms cover your use of classitz.cc and the Classitz application, run by Grandfield Media Private Limited (CIN U85499TS2026PTC221225). We have kept them in plain language on purpose.

What we provide

Classitz is software for running classes: a register of students, batches and schedule, attendance, a fee ledger, notices by email, dashboards for students and parents, and a public page at your own classitz.cc address. You use it in a web browser; there is nothing to install.

Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing and allows up to 10 students. The Starter plan is ₹599 per month (up to 100 students) and the Pro plan is ₹1,199 per month (unlimited students). There is no trial period: a paid plan starts and is charged on the day you choose it. Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Payments are collected by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card details.

A paid plan is billed monthly in advance and continues until you cancel it from Plan inside your account. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep the paid features until the end of the month you have paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Our refund policy says when money comes back.

Classitz never takes any share of the fees your students pay you. Those payments happen outside Classitz, between you and your students; we only record them in your ledger.

Your account

You must give us a real email address you control and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account, including by instructors, receptionists or accountants you invite. You must be at least 18 to open a teacher account.

Your students' data

You enter your students' names, phone numbers, attendance and fee records into Classitz. That data is yours, and you are responsible for having the right to hold it — including a parent's consent where a student is a minor. We store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export it at any time and we never sell it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Classitz to send spam, to store content you have no right to, or to do anything unlawful. Class notes storage is for your own teaching material. We may suspend an account that is used this way, after telling you why, and will let you export your data.

Availability and our promises

We aim to keep Classitz available all the time and we back up your data every day. We will tell you before planned maintenance. Classitz is provided as it is; we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending the relationship

You can close your account at any time. We may close an account for breaking these terms, with notice and a chance to export your data. On closure your data is deleted within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).

Changes to these terms

We will email you at least 15 days before any change that affects you. Continuing to use Classitz after that date means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.
